Offered is an outstanding and highly recognizable Bobs Big Boy die-cut porcelain enamel advertising sign, measuring approximately 60 inches in length and 33 inches in width.
This impressivesingle-sided display piece features the classic Big Boy character holding a hamburger above a bold red Bobs Welcome script base.
The sign retains strong color and gloss throughout and includes the registered trademark () symbol on the face, reflecting officially branded restaurant advertising.

Historical Background:
Bobs Big Boy began in Glendale, California in 1936 and quickly became one of Americas earliest and most successful drive-in restaurant chains.
The iconic Big Boy character wearing checkered overalls and holding a double-deck hamburger was introduced in the late 1930s and became one of the most recognizable advertising mascots in American roadside culture.
During the post-war boom of the 1950s and 1960s, Big Boy restaurants expanded across the United States, using large porcelain and metal character signs to attract passing motorists and establish strong brand identity.

Porcelain enamel signs of this size and visual impact were typically mounted outdoors on restaurant buildings or roadside poles due to their durability and ability to withstand the elements.
Surviving examples remain highly collectible today among enthusiasts of restaurant memorabilia, roadside Americana, and vintage advertising.

This large-format die-cut example presents extremely well for display and would make a standout addition to any collection, garage dcor, or themed commercial space.
